FyneDesk is a newer entrant that takes a refreshingly different approach. It offers a genuinely free plan (not a crippled trial) with features that typically require paid tiers on other platforms: AI-assisted ticket resolution, a customer-facing portal with built-in AI, email-to-ticket, and WhatsApp integration. Setup took under five minutes in our test. The trade-off is a smaller ecosystem and fewer integrations than mature platforms, but for small-to-mid teams, it covers the essentials well. Worth watching as it develops.
